Carrie Underwood has announced the launch of an annual outdoor festival series called Denim and Rhinestones Fest, named after her recent album. The inaugural event, scheduled for June in her home state of Oklahoma, will feature a multi-day lineup of country music performances, food vendors, and family-friendly activities set against the backdrop of the rolling hills outside Tulsa.

Underwood, who rose to fame after winning American Idol in 2005 and has since become one of the best-selling country artists of all time, said the festival concept reflects her desire to create a community event that goes beyond a traditional concert. The lineup will include both established headliners and emerging artists, with Underwood performing an extended closing set each night of the three-day event.

The festival grounds will feature multiple stages, a songwriters' tent hosting acoustic sessions throughout the day, a food court showcasing Oklahoma and Southern cuisine, and a kids' zone with activities and entertainment. Underwood's team emphasized that the event is designed to be accessible, with general admission tickets priced at ninety-five dollars per day and camping passes available for those who want the full festival experience.

Festival organizers have partnered with local businesses and Oklahoma tourism agencies to promote the event and manage logistics. The inaugural edition is expected to draw between fifteen and twenty thousand attendees per day, a figure that could grow in future years if the concept proves successful. Underwood joins a growing list of country artists who have launched their own festival brands, following in the footsteps of Luke Bryan's Crash My Playa and Keith Urban's former The Speed of Now events.
