The Band Perry Announces Reunion Tour and New Music

Country Music News · 2025-08-10 · By Nicci Gibson

The Band Perry has announced a reunion tour and new music, marking a return to country music after several years of exploring pop and electronic genres. The sibling trio of Kimberly, Reid, and Neil Perry confirmed a 25-date tour beginning in the fall, along with a new single that the group described as a homecoming to the sound that first made them stars.

The announcement was met with enthusiasm from fans who had been hoping for a return to the group's country roots. The Band Perry burst onto the scene in 2010 with their debut single If I Die Young, which topped the country charts and crossed over to mainstream success. Their self-titled debut album went platinum, and follow-up hits including Better Dig Two and Done consolidated their position as one of country music's most promising young acts.

Kimberly Perry, the group's lead vocalist, said in a statement that the time away from country music gave the trio perspective on where they belong artistically. She described the new music as rooted in the storytelling tradition of country but informed by everything they have experienced and learned since stepping away. The first single from the reunion project is expected to be released ahead of the tour launch.

The reunion tour will focus primarily on mid-size theaters and performing arts centers, a deliberate choice that the group said reflects their desire for a more intimate connection with audiences. VIP packages will include acoustic pre-show performances and meet-and-greet opportunities. Ticket prices have not been announced, but the group promised that affordability would be a priority to ensure longtime fans can attend.
