Dierks Bentley Celebrates Whiskey Row Nashville Anniversary

Country Lifestyle · 2025-04-18 · By Pearl Roth

Dierks Bentley marked the anniversary of his Whiskey Row bar on Broadway in Nashville with a surprise acoustic set that drew hundreds of fans to lower Broadway on a Tuesday evening. The venue, which has become one of the most popular destinations on Nashville's famous honky-tonk strip, featured special menu items, live music from emerging artists throughout the day, and appearances by several of Bentley's friends in the music industry.

Bentley opened the Nashville location as part of a broader Whiskey Row brand that includes venues in other cities. The Nashville bar has carved out a niche by combining the traditional honky-tonk atmosphere with a more upscale food and drink menu, attracting both tourists and locals. On a typical weekend, the venue hosts thousands of visitors across its multiple floors, each featuring different live music acts.

During his acoustic set, Bentley played stripped-down versions of his hits including Drunk on a Plane, Somewhere on a Beach, and I Hold On. He was joined on stage by songwriter Ross Copperman, who co-wrote several of those songs. The intimate performance contrasted with the high-energy arena shows for which Bentley is known, and fans captured the moment on social media, generating significant online engagement.

Beyond the music, Bentley used the anniversary to highlight the bar's partnerships with local Nashville nonprofits. Whiskey Row donates a portion of proceeds from branded merchandise to organizations supporting music education in Tennessee public schools. Bentley, who got his start playing the bars on lower Broadway before his recording career took off, has spoken frequently about giving back to the community that helped launch his career.
